History Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

The Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh died in 1969 in the city of Hanoi. His express wishes were to be cremated, but the government decided to embalm and expose their remains (as it did with other communist leaders like Lenin, which has a statue near the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh).

The materials chosen are mostly stone, granite being outside and inside polished stone in white, black and red. The massive structure is 20 meters high and 42 meters wide. The building area is more than 12.000m2 and the total area of ​​enclosure exceeds 20.000m2.
