Dalat was founded in the 19th century by the French physician Alexandre Yersin, the city of Dalat was the favourite destination of the French colonists in Indochina era due to its milder climate. In its origins, Dalat possessed only a mountain resort and a mental sanatorium, now Dalat has a lot to offer to the traveller.

Dalat MarketHub of the busiest shopping and around Da Lat. Purchases are not confined within the market but abroad find hundreds of sellers and buyers. Very coveted spices in the area, plus avocado, artichoke and preserved fruit.
The Valley of LoveLocated 5 kilometres north of Dalat, the Valley of love (Thung Lung Tinh Yeu) dating back to the year 1935, is the tourist favorite of married couples and the newly Dalat Vietnamese spot. In the middle of the Valley of the love of Dalat, we have a beautiful Lake to take a romantic stroll in boat.
Open daily until 5 pm, the ticket price is less than 1€.
Dalat Railway StationOld railway station of the year 1936, whose art deco architecture is a replica of the station of trains of Normandy (France), is located in the street Nguyen Trai.
After the Vietnam war, this station is obsolete, since the train lines were destroyed by bombing. Converted into a Museum of the train, today we can enjoy a short walk of 17 kilometers in a Russian locomotive that will leave you in the nearby town of Trai Mat.
Casa Loca (Crazy House) Hang NgaBuilding designed by the architect Vietnamese Hang Nga inspired by the architecture of Gaudí. Repudiated and admired in equal parts, this place, popularly named crazy house, is a pension, Cafe and art gallery that tries to simulate the shape of a tree. Built entirely with wood, wire and cement, the interior doesn't disappoint, with forms that seem fungi, cobwebs, tunnels and ladders.
The House crazy Hang Nga, located on the street Huynh Thuc Khang nº3, open daily from 7:00 to 18:00 without interruption. The entrance fee is 10. 000VND (30 euro cents).
The Dalat Flower GardenLocated in one corner of the Xuan Huong Lake (calle Phu Dong Thien Vuong), the Dalat flower garden has more than 300 species of different flowers. Open daily from 7:30 until 16:00. The entrance fee is 10. 000VND.
Truc Lam PagodaHuge resort located in the mountains, very close to the Tuyen Lam Lake. The Truc Lam Pagoda was built in 1990, and although it lacks the old Buddhist touch, is a popular tourist spot. To reach the Truc Lam Pagoda it is better using the cable car of Dalat.
Linh Phuoc PagodaPeculiar Asian style pagoda built in 1952. The main building has a statue of Buddha sitting in lotus position 5 meters high. The dragon is the main reason for the decoration of the Linh Phuoc Pagoda. Situated 8 kilometers from Dalat, in Trai Mat (the last stop of the train leaving the station of Dalat).
Bao Dai PalaceThe Bao Dai Pacio is the summer residence of the last emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam ( see the Imperial Tombs of Hue). Located in the Trieu Viet Vuong Street art nouveau-style building.
