Restaurants Savannakhet Laos

Restaurant Dao Savanh
Talat Yen square and a few meters from Lin completo coffee, have the largest of Savannakhet restaurant, Dao Savanh restaurant. It is a French restaurant in a French colonial building of 2 floors (Note not to be confused the Dao choices with the hotel Daosavanh restaurant).
Dao Savanh restaurant's menu is not very extensive, where it is the predominant French cuisine although we can also find a pair of traditional dishes of Laos. The quality of the food is very good, as well as the presentation. The negative note of the Dao choices Restaurant is that the price is high and the staff barely speaks English.
Cafe Chai Dee
In the vicinity of the central square Talat Yen from Savannakhet we have a new restaurant style Lin completo Café called Cafe Chai Dee (also called Coffee Anakot). It's a small cafe where the specialty is the Japanese cuisine and vegetarian food. If we are lucky we can listen to live music at Café Chai Dee for free.
As Lin completo coffee, coffee Chai Dee has free wifi, book Exchange system, selling handicrafts of Laos and Thailand, and have service of travel agency. As novelty will say that Cafe Chai Dee rent books and maps.
It should be noted that the owners of Cafe Chai Dee speak English, Japanese and German.

Cafe Chez Boune
Located next to the old market of Savannakhet is espresso in town, the cafe Chez Boune, probably the only place in Savannakhet, where you can eat pizza and European food, since the owners are Franco-Laosianos. Café Chez Boune is easily recognizable by the statue of a Penguin in the entrance.
Restaurant Lao Lao Der
On the outskirts of Savannakhet, 2 km North of the Centre of the city, next to the river Mekong last Temple Houameuang have Lao Lao Der restaurant, where the best are the views of the Mekong River, recommended dinner contemplating the sunset.
